Choose the Restore Backup command in the File menu to restore a backup saved on a floppy disk or a location on the hard drive. This function is especially useful to join an OCAD file which was split to save on several floppy disks.

# Choose the Diskette option and select a drive in the drop down list or choose the Other location option and browse a location.
# Click the Start button.
# If you have chosen the Diskette option, OCAD will ask you to insert the floppy disks in the correct order. If you have chosen the Other location option, all files in this folder are joined.

It is no longer possible to split OCAD Files with OCAD. This function is obsolete and is not used anymore. The only reason why the Restore function is still part of OCAD is that old OCAD Files saved on floppy disks can still be restored. After restoring them, make a copy on your hard drive.

To restore backups, saved with the Backup function use the Open command of the File menu.
