The exported file can then be imported to the event software.

After choosing this command a file dialog box appears where you can choose a path and enter file name for the course file.

Format of the exported file The exported file is a text file. For normal courses there is one line per course/class, for relay courses and one-man relay courses there is one line per runner (the range of start numbers must have been defined in the Courses dialog box). The fields are separated with semicolons (;). It contains the following fields:

  1. Class name as entered in the Classes dialog box. If courses are exported (see above Export) then this field remains empty.
  2. Course name.
  3. Start number.
  • for normal courses this number is "0".
  • for relay courses this is the start number of the team, a point and the number of the runner (e.g. "101.1")
  • for one-man relay courses this is the start number (e.g. "201")
4. Length of the course in km (calculated length + extra length entered in the Course dialog box).
5. Climb of the course as entered in the Courses dialog box.
6. All controls, starting with the start, then the controls and finally the finish. Between the controls is the distance of the controls in km.

The exported file is opened automatically in a text editor.

Export Courses GPX

Choose this command to export courses to a GPX file.

All course setting objects (start, controls, finish) are exported as waypoints. All courses, including start, controls, marked routes and finish are exported as tracks.

Hint.jpg -To use this command real world coordinates and a coordinate system must be activated. Choose Set Scale and Coordinate System from the Map menu to change these settings.

- To open the exported file choose Recently Exported Documents from the File menu.

Export Course Statistic and Event Statistic

Use this command to export course, leg and event statistics to a text file. This export is also available via Course Statistic and Event Statistic in the Course Setting menu.

Export Course Maps

Use this command to make graphic modifications to courses that are not possible within the course setting project. The common modifications like moving the control numbers or modifying the connection lines are possible without using this command. See Making Modifications for more information.

Using this command may be dangerous. If you make modifications to the courses after exporting the course maps, the exported course maps are not updated and are therefore not correct. Only use this command if you are absolutely sure that the courses are final.
