Symbols are used to define a map object’s graphic appearance (characteristic). For example, a tree is represented by a green point on the map. Every map object drawn using the “tree” symbol will therefore have the same graphic appearance. If the symbol is changed using the symbol editor, all map objects drawn using it are also changed. OCAD provides four basic symbol types that correspond to the properties of the respective objects:

Symbole werden für die Definition der grafischen Erscheinung (Charakteristik) eines Kartenobjektes verwendet. Ein Baum zum Beispiel wird mit einem grünen Kreis auf der Karte abgebildet. Jedes Kartenobjekt mit dem "Baum"-Symbol wird daher die gleiche grafische Erscheinung haben. Wird das Symbol mit dem Symboleditor geändert, werden alle Objekte, welche diesem Symbol zugeteilt sind ebenfalls geändert. OCAD bietet vier Grundsymboltypen:

  • Punktsymbol
  • Liniensymbol
  • Flächensymbol
  • Textsymbol

Hint.jpg Sie können das Symbol-Menü auch durch einen Klick mit der rechten Maustaste in die Symbolbox aufrufen.

Faktor

Geben Sie hier einen Prozentwert ein, um das Symbol zu vergrössern oder zu verkleinern. 100% bedeutet, dass die Grösse nicht geändert wird. Ein Wert unter 100% bedeutet, dass das Symbol verkleinert, ein Wert über 100%, dass das Symbol vergrössert wird.

Schriften in Symbolen ersetzen

Wählen Sie den Befehl Schrift aus dem Ersetzen-Submenü des Symbol-Menüs, um eine Schrift in Symbolen zu ersetzen. Der Dialog Schriften in Symbolen ersetzen erscheint.
Die Schrift kann entweder in allen Symbolen mit einer speziellen Schrift (z.B. jedes Textsymbol mit der Schrift "Arial" erhält eine neue Schrift) oder in allen selektierten Symbolen (Alle selektierten Symbole erhalten eine neue Schrift, egal welche Schrift sie momentan besitzen) ersetzt werden. Wählen Sie die gewünschte Option. Wählen Sie darauf die neue Schrift aus dem Dropdown-Menü und klichen Sie auf OK, um den Vorgang abzuschliessen.

Farbe in Symbolen ersetzen

Wählen Sie den Befehl Farbe aus dem Ersetzen-Submenü des Symbol-Menüs, um eine Farbe von Symbolen zu ersetzen. Der Dialog Farbe in Symbolen ersetzen erscheint.
Wählen Sie, ob Sie entweder die Farbe in allen Symbolen oder nur in den Symbolen, die in der Symbolbox selektiert sind, ändern möchten. Wählen Sie die Alte Farbe und die Neue Farbe aus dem Dropdown-Menü.

Klicken Sie auf OK, um die Farbe zu ersetzen.

Normal

Wählen Sie diesen Befehl aus dem Symbol-Menü, um den Symbolstatus des selektierten Symbols auf Normal zu setzen. Normal bedeutet, dass das Symbol weder geschützt noch verborgen ist. Objekte mit Symbolen mit dem Status Normal, werden im Bildschirm angezeigt und können gezeichnet, bearbeitet und gelöscht werden.

Schützen

Wählen Sie diesen Befehl aus dem Symbol-Menü, um das selektierte Symbol zu schützen. Objekte mit einem geschützten Symbol sind sichtbar, können jedoch weder bearbeitet noch gelöscht werden.

Geschützte Symbole erscheinen mit einer grauen Diagonale im Icon in der Symbolbox.

Verbergen

Wählen Sie diesen Befehl aus dem Symbol-Menü, um das selektierte Symbol zu verbergen. Objekte mit einem verborgenen Symbol sind nicht sichtbar und werden weder exportiert noch gedruckt.

Verborgene Symbole erscheinen mit einem grauen Kreuz im Icon in der Symbolbox.
