OCAD 9 CS (Course Setting)
Due to considerable customer demand we have developed a stand-alone edition of OCAD for orienteering course setting. OCAD 9 CS contains all the course setting functions from OCAD 9. There are, however, no functions in OCAD 9 CS for drawing or editing maps; for such use, OCAD Standard and Professional would still be required.

OCAD 9 CS is available at a very competitive price. The program must be registrated and activated before use with a licensee being able to install the program twice. The license is not time limited.

OCAD 9 CS and it's functions
The symbol sets for course setting at the scales 1:15,000, 1:10,000, 1:5,000 and 1:4'000 are predefined. They correspond to the specification of the International Orienteering Federation IOF.
The orienteering map resp. the OCAD file is opened as a background map. With OCAD 9 CS it is possible to create an unlimited number of courses, different competition formats (individual race, relay, one-man-relay) and numerous course variants like butterflies, loops or map changes. The courses can be printed or exported.

OCAD 9 CS for Course Setters
OCAD 9 CS is designed for Course Setters that have the club’s permission to use the OCAD file of an up-to-date orienteering map. It is therefore not possible to create or edit any symbols. Furthermore, only one drawing mode (straight line) is available and it is not possible to load any raster background maps. OCAD Standard or Professional would still be required to use these functions.
